The Marquette Regional History Center presents: The U.P. Centenarians Club, March 7, 6:30-8 p.m.
100 years is a milestone birthday! Hear the fascinating stories of area people who reached at least 100 years of age. Joseph Croiseter lived in 3 centuries, Jimmy Kishketog was the last full blooded Native American in Alger County and teacher Sarah Bottrell – just a sampling of stories that will inspire you.
As part of our 100th birthday celebrations, the Marquette Regional History Center is seeking information on the “UP Centenarians Club” – UP residents who celebrated their 100th birthdays, both living and deceased. Please contact the History Center if you know someone who should be included. $5 suggested donation. Call 906.226.3571 or visit MarquetteHistory.org for more info.
