Salute to Sustainable Fisheries Professional Cook-off

Northlanders wanting an epicurean adventure can hop on Minnesota Sea Grant’s Fish Bus on Nov. 13 for a trip to A Salute to Lake Superior’s Sustainable Fisheries, a professional chef cook-off and public tasting event in Minneapolis. The bus ticket is $10 per seat and the event cost is $20 per person.

The Fish Bus will leave from the Kirby Student Center at the University of Minnesota Duluth at 1:45 p.m. It will stop at Bayfront Park and at the McDonalds in Proctor before heading to the McNamara Alumni Center on the University of Minnesota campus in Minneapolis. It will make the return trip immediately after the Salute ends at 7:30 p.m. Acclaimed Minnesota musician Michael Monroe will perform live music throughout the evening.
