North Central Windows Program 2012 Art Show: Renewal

The 4th annual North Central Windows Program Art Show: Renewal features works of art in a variety of mediums by survivors of domestic and sexual abuse. It runs October 23 to November 13 at the Superior Council for the Arts Gallery (North End Arts Gallery). This year's show will also feature the works of Jenn Salo, assistant director for North Central Windows Program. The theme is "Renewal." Four projects were outlined: Inner Self Portraits, Unmasking Me/Unmasking the Future, My Traveling Story and A Journey Within. This year marks the first time that the art exhibit will be presented at two local galleries and the University of Minnesota Duluth during Domestic Violence Awareness month. The Superior Council for the Arts Gallery is at 1323 Broadway St., Superior. A reception will be Friday, October 26, from 6–8 p.m. Some pieces will be displayed in the Multi Cultural Center at the University of Minnesota Duluth from October 16 to October 22.
