Carlton County Historical Society hosts Friday Movies at the Museum Friday, July 24, at 1 p.m. at its museum in Cloquet. This month's matinee movie is "Memories that began at Fond du Lac Hydro-Electric," a story of living in the Forbay community on the St. Louis River. Forbay is now a ghost town. Popcorn and lemonade will be served during the movie and a door prize drawing will be held during intermission. Regular admission is $2 for adults, $1 for children under 12, and free for children under 5 and Carlton County Historical Society members. As a Blue Star Museum, all active U.S. military personnel and their families are offered free admission this summer. The museum is handicapped accessible. For more information, call 218-879-1938.
