Now at the Duluth Art Institute's Morrison Gallery: Wendy Rouse and Kate Whittaker's work approach similar themes of memory and place with evocative results. Both artists beckon the viewer towards alternate planes and enigmatic spaces while grounding themselves in the physicality of the paint.
