Get ready to hum or sing along during the free Lake Superior College holiday choir concert on Thursday, Dec. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in LSC's Atrium. Songs of joy, thanks, and celebration to honor the holiday season will be featured at the Lake Superior College choir concert. Free parking is available on campus.
The LSC Concert Choir will perform under the direction of Patricia Dorn with accompanist Patrick Colvin and Shelly Gruskin on flute. The DSSO Sinfonia Youth Orchestra, directed by Laura Kimmes, will also perform as special guests. A traditional holiday carol sing-along will be offered.
The musical program includes: Come to the Music; And the Night Shall Be Filled With Music (from “The Day Is Done” by Longfellow); Gloucestershire Wassail; Ruach, Ruach (Winds of Peace); Sing A Song of Merry Christmas (based on a Mozart melody); Carol of the Bells; Do You Hear What I Hear; Medley from Polar Express; and Silent Night.
