History in a Pint: “The U.S. Navy’s Involvement in the Vietnam War"

Veterans Memorial Hall, a program of the St. Louis County Historical Society, announces its next event in the local history discussion series History in a Pint. The presentation is “The U.S. Navy’s Involvement in the Vietnam War" and will take place at Carmody Irish Pub and Brewing, 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21. This presentation will focus on one of the least known chapters of the Vietnam War – the story of the Navy as told through the lens of Dwight “Deac” Nelson. The event is free and open to the public. We advise guests to park in the parking ramp behind and connected to the Sheraton, which is across the street from Carmody’s.
