Glensheen Concerts on the Pier
to
Glensheen: The Historic Congdon Estate 3300 London Rd., Duluth, Minnesota 55804
Concerts on the Pier, one of Glensheen’s most popular events of the summer, returns once again this year! We look forward to hosting nine bands this year in July and August, with our lineup kicking off on July 5 with music from Duluth band The Slamming Doors. This year’s lineup features many talented local favorites, as well as some exciting bands traveling from other areas of Minnesota, such as Jeremy Messersmith and Erik Koskinen. The event is free and open to the public from 5 to 8 pm. Gates open at 5 pm, however, for those interested, early access can be obtained by purchasing grounds admission or a tour. New this year, Concerts on the Pier will feature an additional half-hour of music, with each concert running from 6:30 to 8 pm.
At Concerts, guests can connect with neighbors and friends, play lawn games, grab some grub from a local food truck, enjoy a refreshing drink, eat local-favorite Love Creamery ice cream, or take a seat by a lakeside campfire. Guests are encouraged to paddle or boat in to view the concert from the water or are welcome to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the show from the shore. Please be aware that Glensheen does not permit watercraft (including kayaks) to be launched from the property. Be sure to get here early to claim your spot!
