Friday Movies at the Museum

The Carlton County Historical Society hosts the June Friday Movies at the Museum on Friday, June 27 at 1 p.m. at its museum at 406 Cloquet Avenue in Cloquet.
This month features two home movies from the museum's collection. The first is a newly edited 1951 film of Cloquet's 4th of July parade, and the second is the Cloquet baseball opener from the 1930s. Both old 8 millimeter films are in color with no sound and have been digitized to be shown on the big screen.
Popcorn and lemonade will be served and a door prize drawing will be held during intermission. Regular museum admission is $2 for adults, $1 for children under 12, children under 5 and CCHS members admitted free. Active military personnel and their families are admitted free of charge at the museum through Labor Day. The CCHS museum is handicapped accessible. Call 218-879-1938 for questions.
