Fairlawn's Annual Ice Cream Social

Bring your lawn chair to Fairlawn Mansion & Museum on Wednesday, July 17, for the annual Fairlawn Ice Cream Social, as Fairlawn's way of thanking the community for support during the year. The cake walk is fun for kids of any age (and could mean winning a cake to take home). Look for picnic fare at yesteryear prices, including grilled hot dogs, brats and root beer floats. Free guided tours of Fairlawn will be first-come, first-serve, with the last tour starting at 7:45 p.m. The Superior Singers, under the direction of Brian MacDonell, and local accordion players from the Harrington Arts Center will be on hand to liven things up with summer concert selections.
