Climate Change Impacts on Northern Forest Ecosystems

"Climate Change Impacts on Northern Forest Ecosystems," the first of three Sea Grant climate change talks, will take place at the Harbor House Grille in Grand Marais on Thursday, May 23 from 7:30-8:30 p.m. The talk will be focused on the observed and projected impacts of climate change on forests along the North Shore of Lake Superior. It will be led by Stephen Handler, a Climate Change Specialist with the Northern Institute of Applied Climate Science and the U.S. Forest Service Northern Research Station.
