Buskala Program at Cloquet Museum
The Carlton County Historical Society welcomes John Buskala, owner of Buskala Jewelry in Cloquet, to present a 1918 Fire Program on Wednesday, March 28, at 1 p.m. at their museum in Cloquet.
Buskala will discuss how his family and the family's business survived the 1918 Fire in Cloquet, and how the jewelry business evolved into what it is today. Find out about the history of gemstones and birthstones that have been part of the Buskala Jewelry business over the years.
Visitors will be able to view the museum's new exhibit, "A Century Ago – The Great 1918 Fire." Refreshments will be served after the program. Regular admission is $3 for adults, $1 for children under 12, and free admission for children under 5 and Carlton County Historical Society members. The museum is handicapped accessible.
