"Minnesota North Shore Scenic Drive Photo Tour"

Two Harbors photographer Gary Leeper exhibits images from his new book, "Minnesota North Shore Scenic Drive Photo Tour," at the Vanilla Bean Café, February 14 through March 19. His book provides information on where and how to get to 61 locations along the 150-mile corridor of Highway 61. The E-book will be released this spring and hard copies will be available in fall 2012. "This reference book came out of my love for the North Shore of Minnesota and Lake Superior. I have crawled around the rocks, hiking trails and waterways of northern Minnesota for over 30 years and have put together my images of 61 locations that I believe are worth visiting," says Leeper. "In some cases, I included tips on what you can expect once you get there." The Vanilla Bean, on Highway 61 in Two Harbors, is open daily at 7 a.m.
