John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon

The 395-mile John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon starts on Sunday, Jan. 29, in Two Harbors. From 9 to 11 a.m., you can meet the mushers. At 11 a.m., the teams begin flying across the start line to head up the rugged North Shore of Lake Superior.

Other events include the gala dinner, silent auction and Cub Run, ending with the Awards Banquet Brunch.
